Welcome To Mount Pleasant Primary School
My name is Kate Robinson and I am thrilled to have been appointed Principal at Mount Pleasant Primary School in 2019.
It is wonderful to be at such a vibrant school in the heart of Ballarat!
I am passionate about continuing my own learning journey through evidence informed teaching and learning practices. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with students, families and teachers to learn about their passions and aspirations for our Mount Pleasant learning community.
A child’s primary years are the most important years of their life. As your child’s first educators, you continue to be the major influence on their learning and development during the school years and long afterwards.
We have the important responsibility of working with you, to nurture and provide the educational foundations for their future. It is essential that we work together in partnership, to ensure that your child achieves their maximum potential.
We work as a team to help them become literate and numerate, confident in their approach to social interactions, problem solving and in the use of technology and the arts.
